But he has scored a goal in Turkey like Tammy did...

Most sides in Turkey would struggle in the Championship or even league one so you can't really compare scoring records.

Yep, I would be looking at him ahead of Oshimen. But the worry will always be will any player bring as much to the way we play like Watkins and can they play in the harder Premier League.

Good question, who will bring more to the team?

Osimhen - 71 goals in his last 100 games

Watkins - 33 goals in his last 105 games

It's a tough one!

You'd have loved Mario Jardel at Porto.

And therein lies the lack of understanding.

It’s a bit mental we are still discussing this and one blokes energy in discrediting the complete body of work by our top striker.

Indeed.

Jardel's record from 1996 to 2004:

Porto: 175 games - 168 goals
Galatasaray: 43 games - 34 goals
Sporting: 62 games - 67 games
Bolton: 7 games - 0 goals but not without leaving a legacy.
In 2018  FourFourTwo awarded him 'One of the 50 Worst Players in the history of the Premier League.'

Osimhen looks superb but he’s absolutely not worth what he would cost. And that’s even if we had the financial freedom to buy him.

He's just played his best ever game over 90 minutes in a Villa shirt. The only negative right now is his age. That said he's as fit as a butchers dog.

That's always been the big attraction, he's very similar to Watkins in the hard working, chasing, pace, also great with his positioning, no ego, still only 24 and technically superior.

'Last month Luis Enrique didn't hold back in praising the attitude and effectiveness of the former Benfica player: "Today, Gonçalo Ramos played five minutes and scored. He fights the whole time. It's incredible," said Luis Enrique, before making a surprising confession: "It's unfair what I do to him, but he shows me I'm wrong."'

He’s had many good games across his Villa career, but agreed, it was his most complete performance for us. He terrorized the Forest back line all game.

The other week Tammy was the upgrade on Ollie, until he clearly wasn’t.

And don't forget Sancho was better then Saka because Sancho was scoring more in Germany at one point.

Tammy hasn't even been given a chance yet.

It doesn’t matter he’s not better than Ollie. There isn’t a universe where Tammy does what Watkins does on Thursday.

Eh? I never said that.

Your exact words was Sancho was more talented then Saka. Well the only way you could believe that was because of his displays at Dortmund as nowhere else as he shown any justification to make such a bold statement.
