If the best offer he gets this summer is from the Rags he should fire his agent out of a cannon.

Could see the likes of Everton, Wham (if they stay up) or Fulham being interested.

Or maybe a nostalgic final hurrah at Brentford.

P/x for Thiago please.

He’d be wasted here as we never have penalties!

You were very quiet on Thursday Smirks. What happened? Phone not work.

I was quiet for over a month when he was stinking up the pitch also.

What's your point?

You weren’t quite on Thursday before he scored.

Don't care. When he's done well I've said he's done well.

Today, he was shit.

Just out of curiosity Smirker, do you go all the other player threads to say how shit they are, if they have been.

I used to bump them regularly. It only became a problem cos of Watkins form and me pointing out it was shit.

So now I don't bother.

Btw it wasn't me who bumped this thread.

Big surprise there was silence on Thursday.

Two extremely easy sitters missed is just more reasons why he probably won't be on the plane come June. Three league goals in 2026 is poor.

We needed him today and he didn't do his job. His overall link-up play and pressing was very good which is the only positives.

Swings and roundabouts - we needed him Thursday and he was there.

Bad miss today and obviously thats his main job in the team. His overall energy and performance have been much higher the last three games though, including today.

Agreed. It was a bad miss, but wherever he went when his form fell off a cliff earlier in the season, he's not there any more.

Bad misses - there were two.  We need our main striker to take those chances.  We also need Rogers not to blast over from 8 yards.

Today is why I didn't get carried away in the week.

Another disgusting performance. Those two one on ones were horrendous.

Still though, his interviews  8)

Yeah, you're a parody.

Ignore a great all round performance, jump on a couple of misses.

Compare today versus his no show at Old Trafford, night and day in terms of general performance. Form has been transformed since then.

Indeed, his performance levels are massively up. He didn’t take his chances today, which was annoying, but he played well. He plays like that, as per Thursday, and he’ll get plenty of goals.

I am a fan of Ollie Watkins, but in what way are his performance levels 'massively up'?
