He has looked half a yard quicker in his last two appearances. Maybe the injury story was true and he's recovered now?

You can use the word "cyst", it's less harmful than 3-5-2.

The ailment he is suffering from could still be there, just it was one of the "good" days for discomfort. I would also argue the West Ham setup change helped (if they had their planned back three the spaces wouldn't have been there) and also we were releasing him sooner with backup so he wasn't straying offside as much or having to check runs which lost the pace.

But acrossd the board we also just seemed more direct with less holding the ball up and playing around the back, a tactic I hope we continue going forward now we are in the home stretch and not needed to conserve as much energy.

Could still be there or could be gone, the normal treatment for cysts is to get let them breakdown on their own and that can make anything from 5-6 weeks to 1 year or more so hard to predict.

He definitely looked sharper himself in addition to the team just looking a little more energetic.

I wonder if he's been preserving himself, didn't get the call and just thought 'fuck it, I'm proving him wrong'.

I thought it might be something like that as well. I'd be fucking pissed if Solanke got a call up ahead of me as well.

And maybe that's why Tuchel picked him.

I think Tuchel rates him personally, and wants to take him. I reckon he's said to him to forget about these games, get himself some goals and he'll be going.

Him not being arsed until now would be even worse than just being shit for 18 months.

Maybe if he'd proven Tuchel wrong months ago we'd still have a shot at the title.

Good job that like his injury, your theory is nonsense.

*checks back* 16 goals and 8 assists last season, what a disaster.

He's got 27 goals in his last 102 games.

Discussing one of our players? On a football forum? Outrageous!

Drummond I know that suggesting he's been playing badly because he basically can't be arsed is desperation and looks worse for him than if he'd been trying and just playing poorly.
