He has zero confidence and it’s painful to watch.
It just annoys me now, I'm afraid.

I don't understand why Emery is so massively late with his substitutions.

The number of times last few matches Ollie drifts to the left to receive the ball.  He then tries to cut back onto his right foot and gets tackled. A confident Ollie just leathers it with his left foot. It's so predictable and easy to defend at the moment . Please shoot with your left!

His left is just for standing on.

Tammy has scored twice in far far less game time than Watkins since he came back. FFS just start Tammy and play to his strengths.

Ollie is an absolute fucking liability.

It's been a long time since a striker at Villa has been so poor but continually played, particularly with a new striker able to step in. It's not good for Villa or Ollie. Play Tammy for a couple of games and maybe give Ollie the last 15 mins. Something had to change.

He would have scored Tammy's chance. Is Louie Barry still in the building? There must be a striker at the club who's feeling confident.

The way we play under Unai we need a firing Ollie to be effective as Malen and Tammy can't do what's needed, neither could Captain Chaos. Problem is with Ollie off it it leaves us a tad fudged.

Sorry but Watkins is one of several players that I’ve lost patience with and I’m fed up of hearing excuses for him. He’s cost us points this season, valuable points that will probably cost us CL qualification. As soon as it’s possible we should get rid. He’s not the only one though

He's sadly been dreadful all season, woth very limited exceptions at Brighton and Newcastle. Needs to go in the summer.

You forgot his display at Chelsea. Stephen Ireland played well there for us once and it was enough to win him Player of the Season.

Yeah probably true - problem is Tammy isn’t the answer as a replacement. He doesn’t offer enough all round. So we’re going to need to spend decent money (and ideally not appallingly).

Tammy played quite well v Newcastle in the cup when he started. Cameos off bench have been very mixed. Gets into the right positions though, missed two sitters today.

Did he play well against Newcastle? VAR around and he wouldn't have even had his goal.

The penny has mostly dropped on here then, albeit after the title is long gone and CL qualification looks to be going. I said we'd pay for it months ago if he was still our starting striker. Sad that it's ended up happening.

Weird that he's 'injured' yet still being started every game when we've not long bought a new striker.
