It's strange enough to criticise him whenever he plays, to find a way to do it when he's out injured is utterly bizarre.

Did you even read the thread?

Someone said we missed him. I don't think we did.

You stated it as an absolute fact.

It’s also quite weird in the context of being our Premier League record goal scorer who famously does really well against Brentford (nearly a goal a game from memory).

And Tammy has now played four times against Brentford and his team have never scored......

So its likely that Ollie would have had a chance of making a difference then?
Now we've established a few facts.

Would have been nice to have had him with Tammy today as a bit of something different with his pace and the way he works centre half.

I thought Tammy did well to mark himself out the game today, stuck himself to the centre half with superglue, something I've often accused Watkins of doing but more recently Watkins will leave his marker and drift over to the left to receive a ball. Not sure how that would have worked today with Maatsen, Sancho and bloody Rogers all occupying that space.

As often the case with Watkins, the service to Tammy today was at best poor.

It’s properly weird, completely dismissing the possibility that our most prolific goalscorer of the Premier League era might have scored a goal, while playing alongside players who were his team-mates for years, who’ve set him up for many of them, like Rogers, Bailey and Luiz.

Fact is that if he'd have scored the winner today somebody would have had issues with it.
