He’s got a lot of credit in the bank with us, but after criticising the crowd after the last home game, he really shouldn’t have followed that up with a performance that he should be ashamed of.
Maybe it was his payback.

Oh dear.
Mr Snyde returns. What’s up now ?

What do you mean by 'payback'?
So, why didn’t you say that instead of making another snyde remark ?

Grow up Andy.
Another of your favourite sayings.
I have lost count of how many people you have told to ‘grow up’ over the years.
If you are going to post on a message board, maybe engage in the conversation rather than insult or be snyde.

Has Smirker said Ollie was shit yet? Because he was. Effing terrible. Even Evann offered a threat whilst ambling around looking like a kid at the park waiting to be asked if he would like to join in.

Of course I have. I said exactly the same thing you're saying. Look at the pelters Guessand is getting (much of it understandable) yet even he was better than The Sacred Cow.

😂 your persistence is admirable. The Sacred Cow has a lot more credit in the bank than Guessand.

Perversely, footballers have "credit in the bank" as long as they keep adding to it. Fans can (and should) always be grateful for past achievements, but these don't cut any ice if a player's not up to scratch now.
They certainly don't mean he should be cut any slack. Which sometimes seems the way things are on here.

There is having a bad game, a loss of form for a period, the trouble starts when the bad days start significantly outweighing the good.

Nearly all of us love Ollie and what he's done at the club but he needs to pull his finger out now because he's been crap the entire season bar a few games.

I thought it was ironic yesterday we were playing balls into Watkins that would best suit Malen. Of course Watkins has his weaknesses but he also has his strengths, something we forgot about last night.

He tore Chelsea apart 3 weeks ago, did really well when he came on at Spurs last week, played well against Forest etc etc. doesn’t negate the fact he went missing yesterday and when he did try to get involved belatedly, it was pretty dreadful, e.g. the pass to Beundia that went out for a throw in. It doesn’t mean this season isn’t  as good as his other seasons with us, but he is far from shit every game, or even every other game.

Fact is Ollie has been like this for the best part of a season or more, Asensio, Rashford, sidelined him, remember the animosity that went on, I'm all for a player working through his problems, the bad patch, but there comes a point when you have to get somebody else and give him a rest, the other point is, I would very much doubt Ollie being here this time next year at his age.

No fair enough you never did, those were my words. I do think he needs to be called out when not performing but also cut a bit of slack for the past 5 seasons…not endless slack, but at least for this season.

Never the same after scoring that cracker for England.
The curse of Villa players and England.
Nothing ever good comes from them playing for England.
