You'd never catch me doing that.

Totally agree. Ollie is 100% on the mark and it’s amazing how much you notice from the bench.

Attention being drawn to this and SJM's celebration is not helpful.

Neither of those things is anything significant, but I suspect Unai will be a little miffed with both of them.

I get annoyed with the people leaving early but not sure it’s great drawing attention to it!

Some people who leave early might get annoyed sitting in traffic around the ground or waiting for a train for the best part of an hour if they stay until the end.

Just seems like an odd comment to make at this juncture and an odd time to.have a pop at the fans.

Players who are paid millions every year should stick to answering questions about football not question why a supporter freezing his bollocks off decides to beat the traffic. Shows how far we've come when the support is a little bit quiet because we expected to win. Happy days.

I left in added time and it was surprising how deep the crowds were on Witton Lane
Was there a fire in the Warehouse as Witton Lane was cordoned off after the match.

I think Ollie is a genuine enough bloke and certainly a hard working and professional footballer. But I think his comments are a bit out of touch and probably a bit unwise.

I think he is spot on. It was flat, ko time, weather, expectancy, all play a part in that though.

Not sure how that can be changed for league matches though where we (currently) do expect to turn up and win.

He’s right but he’s also a bit silly for saying it. I don’t see how it benefits anyone.

There's a group of lads in front of us who go down to the concourse before half time, come back up during the second half and leave early. Yesterday, they went down on 38 mins, came back up on 52 ( so they missed the Ollie and  SJM goals, plus prize where it lies, which is tremendous fun) so in total they were down there for over half hour. They did stay till the end this time though.

A rally cry to the masses?

Admittedly it didn’t come across like that but possibly shows that the players notice more than we think.

He can get fucked with those comments as far as I'm concerned as can any player or manager that has a go at fans unless it's about abuse.

For most of my time supporting the Villa - with a few exceptions - we've been a support base that's needed the action from the team on the pitch to get us going rather than vice versa.

Yesterday we couldn't get it going despite going one and then two goals up and generally dominating.

We had better atmosphere in the Championship, weirdly.

I think the atmosphere generally has been really good this season. He's right, it was a bit flat yesterday but early kick off times tend to be plus the cold definitely didn't help. Think he might have been best saying nothing.
