Baker's cyst (if that's what it is) are very common and while uncomfortable, is definitely something you can play through.

I wouldn’t be losing any sleep if he left in January
Not that there’s much chance of that if he’s got a massive ginormous cyst

I'm sick to death of the spoilt babies moaning about a player who's underperforming because of injury. If anything, he's a bloody hero for continuing as best he can; part of a team winning 15 of the last 17.

If anyone should be facing the ire of the support it's Monchi and/or Emery who failed to find someone as decent back up and instead brought in someone who's played a small part in only 7 games and who we clearly don't want.

I’ll put you down as a worshipper then

How much do you think we'd get for him in January, John? I'd rather try and fix him, get him scoring again and cash-in during the summer.

You keep crying and wailing. You'll be ok in the end.

Who picks him? Who should have decent cover in place? If all you say is true. Then why does our manager, with many years experience, trophies galore and who is widely regarded as one of the very best managers around keep picking him?

Because he's trying to get off with his Mom?

Cysts quite often form around other injuries in a similar way that blisters do on healing skin. If it’s in the knee it could be indicative of a meniscual tear or something similar. They will normally heal with physio and time although surgery would speed the process if this is the case. Obviously with the needs of both club and country the 6-8 weeks of recovery needed after surgery cause issues.
