Our goal difference is much lower than those around us. A striker in the goals column would have a positive effect in that. Also we might stop nicking games by a single goal. The pressure exerted on teams that have to play from goals behind might also see us win games more comfortably. I like the guy, he’s done great things for us over the last few years. Funny enough, this weekend I’ve seen quite a few elite strikers miss chances or had the keeper save them. I saw Thiago look pretty awful, sluggish and immobile, which would make him a terrible signing if he’s to replace Ollie.

That fella for Wolves though is shocking.
