He's beginning to be a worry. Doesn't mean I feel the need to rewrite history to pretend he wasn't mostly excellent in the last two seasons.

He wasn't excellent last season, season before fine. I respect this post though, Watkins is indeed becoming a worry I agree. Dunno why Monty can't just reply like this instead of getting so angry.

Because you're being forum-ruiningly boring, and you know it, and your I'm-such-an-innocent-little-critic trolling act is fucking horrible.

I did say earlier in the thread that I thought Ollie was done at this level and sadly I've seen nothing since to change my mind.  I actually feel sorry for him. He should have been taken out of the firing line but there isn't an obvious alternative. He's been brilliant for us in the past but he just can't do it anymore.

Malen came on up front and was a ghost up top though. We don't have backup or competition for Ollie

I thought Ollie should have got to that Sancho cross after half time, didn't anticipate it properly and didn't really go for it either, if even to put off the keeper as someone said on match thread

I'm not prepared to discuss Villa with you until you've calmed down.

We weren't discussing the Villa, though. We were discussing your need for psychiatric intervention.

Maybe he’s declining, maybe he isn’t. But he has been the best striker at the club in along time, and one of the best ones in our modern history. Saying he’s no good, is idiotic and disrespectful.

I don’t think that’s the case, but Smirker does have a weird hatred of Ollie.

I don't hate him.

It's the defend him at all costs/make every excuse for him I find weird.

No other player gets treated like this.

You ever notice that SE doesn't get the same level of aggro you do? He has a strong scepticism of Watkins to - he just resembles much less a severely methed-up maniac trying to force bread into his radio speakers.

Only because I turned the webcam off.
