Local BBC are reporting Ollie's injury isn't serious.

He's out of tomorrows game with the injury, so here's to seeing him back in action sometime around March.

This is Ollie. He's made of titanium.

FFS. Really need him available, he is literally the only one of our forwards who can effectively hold the ball up. That makes a big difference to the success of the likes of Malen , Rogers, and Buendia.

If he is out we might need to throw Guessand in there for that lot to play off, he's the best alternative and it's a job he should be suited for.

Malen would seem the obvious alternative as centre-forward seeing as he has three goals in his last 160 or so minutes.

A depressing thought.

Nothing in there showing he is out for the weekend. You would have thought he would have left the camp over this weekend IF it was serious. More then likely the bruising is coming out now and Kane is back from injury so Watkins is being allowed to recover.

How effective is he without our Oliver?

I don't know. I didn’t know I was suddenly going to be expected to start backing up my hastily-formed opinions or showing my working. This is too much pressure.

Ollie Watkins has returned to Villa. Not travelling to Latvia. He has “not recovered from the knock sustained against Wales” says @FA

Who'd have ever predicted that the strategy of only having one striker would one day cause us a problem?
