Missed him when he went off. Not sure how we ended up with Barkley and Rogers as our furthest two forward.
Malen asked to come off.
The two of them did well.

Sky seemed to think Malen was due to come off and then he scored his second so Emery changed it and brought Ollie off instead.

Also good to see Ollie celebrating the goals today when someone else scores - something he hasn’t always done.

Yep I noticed that too. I think it's a positive thing and shows what a team player he is.

He's on such a barren run though. That's one whole league game now without scoring.

I've been one of Ollie's critics but he's been much better all round in the last couple of games.

I noticed Ollie make some good runs yesterday, but the ball never came to him, the player on the ball then apologised to Ollie for not playing him in

Kane is injured for the friendly so a chance Watkins starts for England.

Yep, I think we may see 3 Villans playing tonight.

Hope so, I’m on route to the game. My daughter’s football team have organised it. Hope the match is far more interesting live than it is watching England on the telly.

BBC has Watkins down as definitely starting with "breaking news".

Everybody enjoying Sam Twatterface on commentary?

With his carefully crafted paragraphs of shite puns, piss poor bon mots and irrelevant stats

Always watch with the sound muted whenever he starts up.

Give me Huge  ( ... and it's Villa moving forward with a longball right side to Ray Graydon...) One's. RIP.

Some of you might be a bit too young for that reference.

He is such a plonker , why do these commentators feel they need to make a na  bb s for themselves trying to wax lyrical .  Just tell us what is going on in the game

Ollie and Rogers played well first half, both linking well and really pressing and working hard. Hopefully Ollie’s alright, we were sat just above it and it looked like he really whacked into the post at speed. It looked like quite a collision.
