We're not talking about midfielders though. We're talking about a striker who got 17 goals in 54 apps last season which isn't a good record however you try to twist it.

A midfielder's game does not come down to raw numbers in the same way a striker's does.

Ignore Smirker, he's being a gimmick, doing a schtick.

Absolutely not good enough. Again. Not even connecting with that header was dreadful. He has no competition at least until January. He is not reliable enough in front of goal.

First one all season in the 93rd minute of the 5th league match and he was as much in shock as the rest of the players and all the fans that a good ball had been played.

There are hundreds of thousands of reasons per week why he needs to be the only one not in shock.

And there are probably a millions reasons per match why we shouldn't be on three points with no wins 6 matches into this season. So Ollie is 1/12th of the issue.

Nope. He gets paid more than almost all of them. It's his job to score a header Charles I could've nicked in with his Adam's apple.

Can't dispute he is strugging but he isn't the problem. Goal scorers like him, Haaland, Salah,  etc thrive off of service, and he is getting none.  The problems go far deeper than changing whose up top

It’s not really much to go on but he had a decent chance from a long ball over the top that he hit straight at the keeper, think it was against Palace. We’re creating chances for fun for Ollie, two in 5 games!!

when you look at his easy misses last season he should have scored far more.
