I'm surprised clubs in the PL haven't realised there's cheaper bargains out there better than Ollie. Instead they either want Ollie, or spend higher fees/wages on players not as effective as him. The fools.

It's easy to get a way better player for cheaper. People are just choosing not to.

Hopefully going. Then we get a proper striker in.

Coops level of trolling. At least in how nonsensical it is.

Smirker's 8), definitely not a troll.

*Just a little misguided on this occasion.

Thanks.

I'm not repeating myself. You will all see. Better strikers are out there and the club will find one I'm sure.

You just can't name any.

I'm not the scout.

If Ollie Watkins is the best we can do then we should just give up. It's the player equivalent of people thinking we couldn't get anyone better than Gerrard (until we got Emery).

17 goals in 54 apps. And people think that's good enough for our lead striker. Raise your standards.

I'm just confused by your confidence, bud.

You're not a scout, fine. I know nothing about cars.

If my mate had a £20k car that broke down every once in a while, I wouldn't tell him to switch it for a random £10k car because it was bound to be able to do everything his current car can but better - unless I knew that such a car existed.

(And if he sold his £20k car based on my advice, had to spend £30k on the replacement, which then blew up and killed his entire family, I'd feel like a massive twat.)

Wow that is some comparison anecdote

What if it didn't kill all his family? Say, just one of his kids, who he secretly didn't like (and suspected might not be his)?

In that case I'd consider that I'd done him a favour and invoice him for my advice.

I'd be happy with 20-25 but yeah, reach for the stars.

He's going to need some service and Unai not expecting him to score in just 45 minutes per game.

Talk Shite trying to sell Ollie off to Man Ure tonight. "Why wouldn't Ollie go to Man Ure?"

Usual bullshit. Fallen out with Emery and doesn't start enough games etc.

******!

He's had a proper summer off, it's a world cup year and he'll be full first choice at Villa. While I would have sold him at the start of the window, we'd be mad to now.
