How anybody could doubt Watkins is beyond me. He is exceptional.

It comes up with McGinn from time to time too. Don't doubt them ever. Outstanding goal from Ollie, delighted for him.

Massive impact when he came on and we were chanting his name as loud as anything all game...there is no doubt we love him and I think he knows that! A few doubters shouldn't change that!
Won a penalty, scored an absolute belter of a striker's goal and looked great in his movement off the ball.
His gesture after scoring shows he loves us too!

Was his best game for us in ages.  Maybe all season.  He looked dangerous and hungry - like last season's vintage.

I reckon he'll score on Tuesday too.

Only three players have 20+ goal involvements in each of the last three Premier League seasons:
◉ Erling Haaland
◉ Mohamed Salah
◉ Ollie Watkins

I think the question of selling him or not is more down to him reaching an age where if we're going to, this summer will be the time for maximizing that. But doing that would mean needing to bring 2 in. If he can bring in the right one so that we're not overly reliant on him, that's as good a option as any.

He looked like last season's version of himself yesterday for the first time this season.

That really is a fantastic achievement.

Write him off at your peril. What a bloody brilliant and vital player he is.

We need better, although the only players in the PL over the last 3 years that have been better than him are Salah and Haaland.

Well done Ollie on equalling our pl record for goals. Now to get at least 1 more to put gobby in the shade!
...and he gets another assist!
He just keeps doing it for us and long may that continue!

Wincing watching his post-match interview. Seems to all be about him rather than the team. I understand you want players who want to play every game, but he seems to think he has a divine right to start every game.

Thought he was so honest. Makes a change for a player to speak with such passion. Great one Ollie. He's going to play and score more this season for sure...

I think listening to that interview with Sky he's leaving at the end of the season as he said he's got 5 games to beat Gabbys record
