Number 2 eh but number 1 right back.
So I hope anyone thinking he was playing some wayward position upfield rather than right back can enjoy their riding their bicycle backwards!
And to say right back at you for suggestions of wide forward!

It doesn't mean much.

Just once I'd like to see a team line up 1-11 on the pitch.

A good debut overall I felt.  Puts a nice ball into the area, more to come from him I'm sure. Looks a bit too much like Lansbury though, so I keep expecting him to be crap!

I thought it was Grealish on screen until I realised it was Cash!

Ha ha, agree on all points, the Lansbury likeness is uncanny

He played well enough. Shame he was booked, thought the ref was a bit harsh there. Will be a good signing.

Thought he looked good, though he wasn't challenged defensively too much.

Still think Guilbert should be as starting ahead of Cash, but he looked far more competent last night than he did against Man Utd.

We didn't see the best of Cash last night - too much of our attacking play went down the left hand side, even when it was clear it wasn't working.

Too often when Cash got the ball down the right hand side, Trez was almost in a strikers position - therefore, Cash was having to go sideways, and more often backwards for us to keep the ball.

Hopefully when Traore starts, as he's left footed, he's likely to get the ball and move inside with it - giving Cash the room to overlap.

I think it’s a good battle between the two. Freddie is more than competent there too.

If only the options at left back were as good.
