Just to reintroduce a note of positivity, if current trends continue over the course of the whole season then after 38 games our goal difference will be roughly 160 better than the Baggies.

No team with 15 or more points after 10 games has ever gone down, while teams with between 12 and 14 points have a better than 90 per cent chance of survival.

Bv is right, up until very recently our so-called "goalkeeper" had a weekly rolling average of conceding at a rate of two goals per game. That is clearly unsustainable if we're to stand a chance of staying in this division.

I've written to Barry Took at Points of View and Esther Rantzen at That's Life to complain, so worry not they'll get it sorted.

Really disappointed in Konsa.  He showed so much promise earlier in the season, a proper old-fashioned top-goalscorer-centre-half.  He's looking more and more like a player who'll struggle to hit double figures even once in his career.

Re Border Villan and LastFootStamper.

Just been looking at some Twitter stats.

Apparently the waste of space in goal for us has only been responsible for 15% of clean sheets in the Prem so far.

He really needs to buck his ideas up and get the figure nearer to 100%!!

For some reason I forgot all about this thread this week...

Still, I suppose we did lose at home to Dirty Leeds Fairly Clean Bournemouth last season so no points lost.

We will probably still win the league, judging  by The Drummond Method, but it is going to be much more nervy than we thought. Is it too much to ask, just once, for us to have the title wrapped up with ten games to go?

No wonder we are struggling with McGinn now plummeting so much in form that he looks like barely scraping thirty assists this season.

Don't even mention Konsa. Answer to all our goalscoring problems, we thought. As a former punk icon turned racist sympathising arsehole once said "ever get the feeling you've been cheated"?

If villa and Fulham were in a box and opening the box would relegate 1, without opening the box which one would it be? My bet is Fulham are in the superposition

If it helps, we're currently on target for 76 points and 95 goals.

Well, we lost by two goals at home to Southampton last year so we've improved...
