Must looking pretty on +10 right about now?

You're kidding aren't you. Konsa didn't even look like scoring - pathetic.

I'd imagine cdbw is too depressed to come on here and update the swing-o-meter given the dreadful loss of form we've seen for players who showed so much promise at the start of the season!

But I think that El Ghazi's minutes-per-goal ratio now set to deliver a treble figure return will more than compensate for the drop-off from Mr. 50Pence Head.

Well, three points gained on last year, but it feels like a loss.

We all thought Konsa was back to his lethal best after that goal against Brighton, but his form since has shown him up for the imposter he really is. More Miss-i than Messi, more Can't than Kane, more Non-goal-d'oh! than Ronaldo. I think we are all similarly seething at the latest drought from this so-called "goalscorer", more Botched-a-sitter than Batistuta (that's probably enough shit striker puns...).

In another worrying trend, Jack Grealish's decline continues. Only the second best rated player in the country below rubbish Beaufort Scale-themed goalhanger Harry Kane. Not good enough!

Meanwhile Ollie Watkins is scarcely going to have enough goals to fill an Advent Calendar at this rate. Every time he fails to score, Baby Jesus cries. 😡

In summary, just not good enough.

Well, here we go again. Yet another win papers over the cracks at everyone's favourite Crisis Club.

Not so long ago, we were beating Liverpool, Arsenal. You know, proper teams. Now we slum it playing nonsense clubs like West Bromwich Albion. Haven't bothered to check, but there's no way a team like that cam possibly be part of The Best League In The World.

How are we ever going to gain on the clubs above when we insist on wasting our time with pointless friendlies against local unfortunates?

I note the goalscorers. El Ghazi. Traore. El Ghazi again.

One name is notable by its absence. Yes, that's right. Ezri bloody Konsa. Prolific goal-dodger of Olde Aston Town. Apparently he's "injured". Or "ill". We know the truth. He has been withdrawn from the team in disgrace at his lack of goals. To quote a popular film at this time of year... Ezri Konsa, YOU SIT ON A THRONE OF LIES.

Merry fucking Christmas. Bah, humbug.

It was about time Konsa was dropped. Never before has a "goalscorer" flattered to deceive so much.

But the good news is El Ghazi has 3 goals from his last 195 minutes of play at a rate of a goal every 65 minutes.

By my reckoning therefore he's due a further 36 goals before the end of the season giving him a credible 39 goals by match 38.

Anything less than that will be an abject failure. If you're reading this, do not disappoint, Anwar, in the way that those before you have!

Make it up? There's nothing to make up.

Konsa failed to score. Again. The guy's scoring record is as barren as the Western Sahara. Not only has our league record against L & M teams not improved, the percentage of our wins that've come against L&M teams has actually gone down. That's before we even get on to the subject of having beaten the league champions 7-2 earlier in the season (+5GD), but are now reduced to putting up with just +3GD against a club who we had to lend our shirts to just so that they could play. What on earth is our Head "Coach" actually doing during the week?

Completely agree.

Its also important to point out that El Ghazi has already fallen behind the goalscoring rate he'd set himself.

I'm sure he'll try to defend himself by pointing out that he scored an absolute worldy but football is a results business - you don't get extra points for fancy finishes so get your head down Anwar, your goalscoring boots on, and buck your act up or you'll no doubt go the same way as the outcast that is Ezri Konsa!

Everton may be our biggest swing rivals this season. The winner shall go to the Champions League (without Thomas Gravesen or his brother Lee Carsley thankfully).

Our XG was 4.56 and theirs 0.85.

We're a bit good.

Konsa was pathetic in front of goal. Good job Hause was there to show him how to do it.

You're right, I'm sorry. I haven't been myself since those four ghosts visited the other night.

Will be back to normal soon. Apologies again.

Thought I'd give this a little bump.

We've dropped a point on last season over the past three games, due to the defeat at Old Trafford.
