Bottom 4-5 teams being total s*** isn't helping us much tbh if we want to finish a bit higher in the league than normal.

If we lose v Arsenal and Man. City win we'll be 11th yet our points average from first 7 repeated would have us on 60 points from 35 games and that would've had us still with outside chance of top 4 last year (also more points than one of the MON 6th place seasons!)

Table after 7 games last year actually had West Ham in 3rd place on 12 points so I'd rather likes of Burnley and Sheffield United started picking up a few draws at least otherwise we'll be finishing bottom half with a record points haul.

Last season we hit 15 points with a draw away at Man Utd on the 1st of December, it was our 14th game of the season. We had also scored 21, we're at 18 already this year.

Our record against L & M teams is no better than it was a fortnight ago, even with the result against Arsenal.  The team just isn't progressing.

I'm staggered that Konsa still gets a shirt week in, week out. Once again we have a manager that can't see past his favourites.

Why we persevere with Trez I do not know, will he ever come good?

What we need is a really vicious left half.

I note with interest that Martinez still hasn't scored this season. Another waste of money.

What do you expect when the lily-livered dastard barely ventures outside his own half?! My patience with this so-called "team" is wearing thin, very thin indeed.

BBC article on the full league swing so far. We're 11 points better off in the comparison fixtures, and 6 points better off the equivalent stage.

Linky.

Thanks, BBC. I'll await my cheque.

Southampton seem to have gone somewhat under the radar. Maybe they'll win the league?

Updated. Sorry don't have time for write-up this week. Probably for the best.

Apologies for the lack of write up again, have been annoying busy. One plus point is that Jack Grealish is currently the best player in the land. But we all knew that anyway. 😊
