Do we know when the final will be? The Villa site has this down for 7pm on the 29th, at Bodymoor Heath. The FA site says the game will happen 'before the 29th of May' but then lists it as 7pm on the 29th also 'subject to TV selections and replays.' The Liverpool site has it as TBC.

I'm sceptical about the 29th at that time as it clashes with the Champions League Final so if BT sport are going to show the youth cup I'd expect it to be on at a different time.
Monday 24th. 1945 ko at Villa Park. Will be broadcast live in BT.
Spectators allowed ?
Edit. Found it now. TBC.

That's on too late.

To keep younger kids interested it needs to be on earlier. The Semi was on at a decent time and it meant I could let my kids watch it; I think they were more interested in that match than first team games.

I think that time slot is the latest the game can be played by so they're just waiting to agree the scheduling with BT. It also won't be at BMH, it'll be at Villa Park, being on TV will require that. Fans are allowed as well so I expect the decision pretty soon.

Makes sense, thanks.

When I said pretty soon I didn't expect it to be announced about 25minutes later!

From Smith's presser today.

“It’s certainly difficult to manage because of the quality of the teams we’re playing.

“We’ve got some quality young players, probably tomorrow will be the best chance because come Sunday (against Chelsea) they’ve got an FA Youth Cup Final on the Monday. I’ll certainly want the players to play in that.

“It gives us an opportunity to look at things tomorrow, that’s for sure.”

Hopefully we'll see a couple then...

Interesting, Kesler and Chuk would be the 2 most likely to get some time and maybe JPB as well.

Has JPB been involved in the FA Youth Cup? He hasn't from what I've seen which would allow him to be involved against Chelsea.

I think he's too old to qualify now.

Just got two tix for Monday. They went on sale at 12. 4750 only first come first served to those that didn’t get Chelsea tix. Now off to Warwick races - first outdoor event since forever. Hope it’s a lucky omen !
