An Allardyce /Terry combination might work

I don't think Allardyce would tolerate Terry anywhere near the setup.

Just heading out of Southampton now.

What a bunch of bottle jobs.

Absolutely pitiful effort.

Fucking fuming after watching that, so much wrong but the most worrying one is that teams are carving us open far to easily week after week and we are doing nothing to alter it, 20+ shots regularly against us is nothing short of pathetic.

I think we brought some absolute naff in the summer. I cant take to Trezeguet at all, he gave away so many stupid free kicks.

Jacks worst game of the season for me aswell, lost the ball time and time again, when he plays like that there is no other fucker to step up.

It is going to be gutting - 42,000 week in week out, and back down to the Championship minus all our decent players.

The definition of insanity "Doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different result"

Week after week Dean keeps the same shape which constantly exposes our midfield and as a result it was 28 shots this week and 23 last week. That in itself is cause for making a change.

As for the recruitment policy it was so amateurish to buy all players with no premier league experience. He could have added some wise heads in midfield but instead we buy Luiz, Nakamba, Trez, El Ghazi with a sum total of zero premier league games.

I hope the owners take decisive action to protect their investment.

Agree on all fronts.

I hope that decisive action to protect their investment doesn't mean taking it out and walking away.

I said back in August that our season would be defined by how we did against, amongst others, the south coast trio.  Well that's now Brighton and Southampton who've done the double over us.

They're equally to blame for the gutless fucks they are. You shouldn't need to be managed to run harder and compete against your opponents.

Yes, it is hard to disagree with that.

The giveaway is the total lack of energy and fight.
