For those mentioning "what could Liverpool do?" Remember that they probably took about 25 players with them to the club side. The numbers last night started at above 50. He has already stated that some of those players would be "rewarded" with flying out and joining the squad which to me means that they could have mixed youth and experience and had any of them fly out. So, yes, he could have done more but decided to be a bit petulant when it was decided just because it was the 'The Mighty Reds YNWA', it didn't mean everything had to be arranged to suit them and so decided the full kids team will play. Anyway, role on the SF.
It was very unfair on those young lads. Just think of the pressure of playing in the hallowed number 68 shirt knowing what legends have worn it before you.
