Tbf I think apart from her accent (& accents are becoming less and less of a thing to hold presenters back), Alex Scott has everything that would make her a good football presenter: she’s played to a good level; she has a degree in journalism & is good looking in that polished way that TV presenters tend to be. Unfortunately for her, she manages to have all these assets and still manage to be a completely charisma free zone!

Let's see her take the pee out of other regional accents now, they won't it because they think Birmingham people don't mind, well here's a starter why don't you go forth and multiply it's isn't funny anymore you don't do it to others so I don't stand for it any longer

What's she done? You seem to have invented a reason to be angry at her.

The least she can do is agree to hear him out.

I've never heard her taking the piss out of Birmingham. She, presumably, lived here for a while. She may have done the accent in an affectionate way. Given that she's had to put up with accent snobbery I doubt she'd be inflicting it on others including, probably, numerous former colleagues and friends, but I'd be happy to reconsider if you have a link.

Watching MOTD 2, Alex Scott is an appalling host.
 :(
Good evenin', wasss appnin', Birminun etc. She's thick as mince.

When did speaking properly become redundant as a requirement for being a BBC presenter? Pundits yeah, they've never been the brightest, but there should be a standard for a presenter and she falls way below what I would expect from someone anchoring a show.

Also, if you thought our non VAR decision was bad, have a look at the Palace "goal'. Eze scores a worldie from a FK but as the ball is about to hit the net, the ref blows his whistle for a supposed foul on the edge of the box. There was no foul and VAR would have ruled the goal was fine but the ref had already blown his whistle a split second before the ball hit the net so VAR can't get involved.

Absolute farce.

I'm not mad keen on her, but I fail to see why her accent makes her 'thick as mince'

If we beat Arsenal (again) on Saturday we will be last on MOTD and they probably won't even bother showing it on MOTD2 .

Alan Smith earlier: a couple of early goals will give Solanke confidence that he can operate at this level.

WTF? Was Smith on moon last season?

I kind of get the point, he failed at Chelsea and Liverpool. Now Spurs are that, and he was at a different stage of his career, but Bournemouth are a smaller club. Having that level of expectation brings pressure.

I think we'll be on first. Regardless.

If we win it will be - have Arsenal blown it?

Troys take for the team of the week.

Rock
Happy,
Beast,
Proper Proper Defender.
Monster
Unreal
Horrible Things (apparently also only him with his "trained eye" could spot this).
Bit of a joke
Immense
Smashed it
Monster.

Apparently also he picks a manager of the week which he gave to Eddie Howe because of how he managed to ensure Southampton didn't have a finisher in the team.

So I suppose being careful for what you wish for is definitely a thing after thinking Crooks wasn't that good.
