Anyone writing 'tho' should not really comment on other people's language though. ;-)

I've heard plenty of people on this very forum complain about people saying Birminun etc... it's infuriating. But seemingly because it's a woman, everyone is jumping to her defence.

Joe Cole does it for example and gets pelters for it on here.

Fine. I think she is a poor broadcaster and not up to the job. And not because of the way she speaks. (Tho I still find it annoying)

I hope that's cleared that up now and we can move on.

It’s a bit rum to mention her accent though. Most of the people using this forum will have faced prejudice about their regional accent (more than people from most other areas). It’s not helpful to judge people on something so unimportant.

And most people on this forum will probably have taken the piss out of people from Liverpool, Manchester and London for their accents at some point or another.

Then they can handle all the ‘thick, boring Brummie’ bollocks that comes their way.

Actually Brazilian Portuguese is quite tough as it happens. To make it not sound Portuguese I mean.

Distinguishing between some of the Eastern European accents rather than just sounding "generic" Eastern European is a challenge. Same for South America.

I was thinking more of English accents. Brazilians speaking in English have a very distinctive accent though.

Yes that's true but nailing it as a foreigner isn't the easiest.

In terms of UK, getting the.Bristol and Cornish accents right is tricky as they are similar but different. Even Norfolk can sound West Country in places.

Still had time for Danny Murphy to discuss Liverpool. Not to mention this headline. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cn02gdl9wyvo

So are they stating that Klopp was actually a shit manager and Slot is making sure they actually play good attacking football at Anfield not seen for years?

For context, last year they drew 1-1 at Luton and beat both Burnley and Sheffield Utd 0-2. All their stats showed them leading in all stats in the games apart from one. On Saturday Liverpool fouled more then all those other game with 18, the dirty buggers.

Never tried French regional accents as I know nothing about them. I imagine they are incredibly different to Parisian tho!
