Troys take for the team of the week.

Rock
Happy,
Beast,
Proper Proper Defender.
Monster
Unreal
Horrible Things (apparently also only him with his "trained eye" could spot this).
Bit of a joke
Immense
Smashed it
Monster.

Apparently also he picks a manager of the week which he gave to Eddie Howe because of how he managed to ensure Southampton didn't have a finisher in the team.

So I suppose being careful for what you wish for is definitely a thing after thinking Crooks wasn't that good.

At least he is picking players vaguely in the right position. Sure Crooks had Palmer as wing back last season in one game.

I'd have given it to the Brighton guy - hit the ground running. Crooks would have given it Slot, no doubt.

If we beat Arsenal (again) on Saturday we will be last on MOTD and they probably won't even bother showing it on MOTD2 .

I think we'll be on first. Regardless.

If we win it will be - have Arsenal blown it?
we'd only be on 1st by default as its Arsenal

I think I saw ‘Buendia’ on a shirt for a microsecond in the new MOTD intro.
There’s no risk of overexposure of the Villa on the BBC, is there.

Same as last year.

I think Dibu and Luiz were also on last years credits, replaced this year by an Ollie knee-slide.

Yep, she's appalling. She's clearly being lined up for the main MOTD day job as well when Lineker calls it a day. Either her or Jermaine Jenas, who is just as bad.

Actually scratch that re Jenas, the Beeb have just given him the heave ho. Micah Richards next please.

BBC seem to be wiping him from as much stuff as possible pretty sharpish for "inappropriate behaviour".

Bearing in mind what hasn’t got people sacked from the BBC in the last, Jermaine Jenas must be guilty of war crimes or mass murder as a bare minimum.

Even worse, saying "Birminum". Hanging's too good, I'd pull the lever myself, etc.

Doesn’t have a TV licence.

Given that Jenas's football career was more noted for the time he spent on the physio's table than the pitch, I do wonder how he ended up with such high profile TV gigs.  That he was apparently being paid a quarter of million quid to do so, dispite having no discernable broadcasting talent, stretches it beyond belief.
