Suddenly came alive, Webster got one and then missed out on another by about an inch.

Hants now 105/4

Some really good bowling either side of lunch to put Bears in control.

Worcs 130 odd for 5….normal service resumed grrr!

Not a wicket that anyone is getting settled on tho (now watch one of the Essex batsmen get a double hundred!) but our batting in the whole this season has been awful.

I reckon the most frustrating part is that so many of your players get a start and do ok for the first 40-50 balls and then get out when they should be 'in'. It's the same thing that crippled England for a few years.

3 of them, that's a superb knock by the lower order for you.

Bears let Hants get a few too many really and then had a nasty little spell to be 17/2 at close chasing 300.

Awful morning, good from Barnard to keep us in the game but terrible batting otherwise.

Well, we've avoided the follow-on. Though not sure they'd have bothered to enforce it this early in the game anyway.

Maybe we could just start every innings two down, save the opposition the trouble.

Worcs win….shock horror

Was fitting to see bumpball Porter lose his middle peg to seal the deal

Waite has been one of the best signings of recent years…if only our batting remotely matched up to our bowling
