Good fightback from the Bears, recovering from 46/4 to post 350+/8 after being put into bat at Taunton.

and ended up with the 4th batting point this afternoon after the morning got washed out.

Bears all out for 412.

and a good start with the ball, Somerset currently 58/3

The ball to get Kohler-Cadmore was an absolute peach from Booth, close to unplayable.

The ball Olly produced to get Banton out was a beauty as well.

Big day today for the Pears…likely to be chasing around 250 at Durham….need the batting order beating. Libby / Roderick & Kashif to contribute.  Hose / Jones & Brookes all owe the team a score…

Not confident and expect to get rolled over meekly but if can get over the line it’ll hopefully give some confidence to try and stay in this division…defeat and its relegation I suspect

Somerset all out for 284 meaning a lead of 128 so no follow-on but Somerset often goes really flat on day 4 so it'll be interesting how we go from here. I think I'd be aiming for a 350ish lead by the end of the day and then declare either overnight or a couple of innings into the morning tomorrow. If we really get a move on and can have a few overs at them this evening as well though that'd be excellent.

Jimmy has taken 6-18 off 9 overs this morning, not the actions of a man who is ready to retire or is being retired.

The Bears were 281-8 at stumps, a lead of 409, they should declare overnight and have a day at them tomorrow with the ball.

Oh and the Pears won, how shit must Durham be?  ;)

I'd be shocked if we don't take a few overs in the morning.

Terrific win Gareth.  Great batting by Kashif (watch him get poached!!), Hose and Brookes at the end.  We have capitulated far too often but today was excellent. Apart from the Essex game, we have teams around us, including Kent up next.

Give ourselves a fighting chance….sure Moores will already have called about Kashif :-) - hopefully that 50 from Hose sets him up to contribute more…get Dolly back in for Jones next game

Quite the match at Cheltenham
Glos 179
Glam 197
Glos 610/5
Glam chasing 593 to win are bowled out for 592 for a last ball tie.

Incredible. Would have been a world record chase.

Really ugly and embarrassing defeat for Bears. Can't say Davies as a four day captain has a clue tbh.
