I’m listening to the coverage on the BBC website, it’s very dated. Compared with TMS it’s like watching Sunday League cricket circa 1980.

Kent win, potentially fucking us over and confirming Gloucestershire's relegation. Hampshire's defeat also means that Surrey will be champions if they chase down the required 55 to beat Yorkshire.

If we can't beat Gloucs then we deserve relegation.

Hampshire were done as soon as Vince went. Looking in great nick and carrying his team towards an unlikely win against the odds only to go playing a shot that was completely unneccessary sums up his entire career.

I still think time may be against Somerset but even a draw is enough for them I think so we desperately need to take these wickets now.

Well done the Pears beating the leaders Notts by an innings and 79 runs, could very likely of won our other 2 matches this month, had the weather not intervened.

Damn bears giving a glimmer of hope. Gloucs need 10 but only have 3 wickets left. Should still make it but it's a lot closer than it looked half an hour ago.

Could do with Northants grinding out a draw then a win in our last game probably ensures survival. If Somerset win we need to win and have Kent or Yorkshire lose and even then we might need to get some decent bonus points.

Yep.  Lost to teams who were in the bottom two at the time of playing them, so can't have too many complaints really.  With all our struggles going on, it was nice to see Chris Woakes and Olly Stone in training over in Pakistan on SKY the other night only to be carrying water bottles around for the first two games.

Just been reading the ECB recommendations for the county game.  Actually don't mind some of the ideas (return to a knockout 50 over cup including the minor counties would be good), but the Hundred seems to be the hill they are intent on dying on.

Didn't every county but one vote to take the ECB £ 1.3m?) as compensation for the hundred taking place in August?

What a sorry mess.
