Back in the relegation zone as Kent take three quick wickets against Hants.

Hampshire are absolutely collapsing, imagine they will be well short of Kent's 165. We desperately need a win.

250 up... back out of the relegation zone. Hundred up for Sibley.

Hampshire 41 for 6... guess what? Back in the relegation zone.

Useless Southern tossers.

54 for 8 now... surely a points deduction for Hampshire? Or does that rule only apply to us.

Hampshire 57 all out. FFS. They should be done for match fixing. Bears 255 for 8 at close.

Crazy game at Chelmsford where 25 wickets have fallen today. Lancashire batted first and were all out for 131, Essex were all out for 107 and now in their seconds innings Lancashire are 5 for 5.

I thought Hampshire were going for the title?

If Lancashire can get to thirty it could be a defendable score.

Bears 274 all out. Sibley unbeaten on 120.

Kent have lost a wicket and are 59/4 so lead by 167. You'd imagine anything above 200 will be nearly impossible to chase, the way wickets have fallen there.

Somerset still batting, 284 for 5.

Meanwhile in the ridiculous game at Chelmsford, Lancs are 58 for 8.

Gloucs 30/2 just into the 7th over, bowling has been good other than a few wayward ones from sidebottom. 1 wick each of OHD and Sidebottom.

62 for 3, now.  Kent have just lost a sixth wicket but may already have an unassailable lead. Somerset collected three batting points and are still going.

and a 4th before lunch, we're in a pretty strong position now I'd say but we can't let these 2 build a big partnership.

After that Hampshire look likely to let us down badly but 3 bowling points and a win would put us ahead of Kent anyway. We'd then be hoping that Somerset turn them over in the last week whilst we at least match them for bonus points.
