Good for him, he will get loads of game time next season. Don't think he is PL standard to be honest with his limitations on the ball but decent signing for Luton all the same.

I think he is PL standard, if your game is based around a style that he fits in to. He had a ridiculously long run with us where we didn't concede a goal with him on the pitch. He's not shit, we're just now in a place where we need something more from a central midfielder. We need people that will dominate and dictate play, and that's not him.

There were a few games under Gerard where I thought he was easily MOM. Which possibly says more about where we were at the time

But he gave his all. We can’t say he ever let us down. Comes over as a really humble and nice bloke. Equally, not good enough for where we hope to be this year.

One of those players that gets , i hope, an amazing reception when he plays at VP this season

I like him, he's a decent player on his day, although prob not PL level, and is by all accounts a top bloke.

Good work for charidee etc etc.

I still like to search up his tackle in the League Cup final once in a while as well. Full-blooded is a bit of a euphemism to be honest.

Brilliant tackle that was which he was rewarded with a yellow card for I think for having the temerity to take the ball off a Ci£y player

Best of luck, Marv.

Think he's a brilliant signing for Luton, will really help them defensively. Wouldn't look out of place at a mid table Premier League side at all.

Like others, I have always rated Marvelous but understand his need to move on. Have a feeling Luton will struggle this year but Marv will be the shining light.

Because of contract position, sell for around 10 million but include a massive 'sell on' clause. There could be a scramble for his signature at end of next season.

I really can't see us getting that much, but I'd be happy if we did.

Saying that, I laughed at everyone saying we should charge £10-20m for Chukwuemeka!

I laughed even more when Chelsea paid it.

I've laughed even more to think that Luiz, Kamara, McGinn, Ramsey, and Tielemans combined cost less than we got for him!

I've watched that clip a few times over the last few days, super tackle that.

And I like him a lot, he is good enough for Premier League football, just not at the level we aspire to be.
