He played well, I just wish we could see him further forward, but needs must at the moment I guess. He’s a sound player where he’s playing, but in the eight role he becomes an excellent player.

I said the same during the game. Play him a little further forward and we might not miss Tieliemans as much.

Probably hamstrung by Cash being injured which didn’t allow us to play Bogarde in the middle but I’m sure there would have been a few criticisms if we started Onana and Bogarde in midfield at home to Brighton.

I thought he played pretty well, in what was a battle of a game tonight. He ran himself into the ground and was always looking to get on the ball.

I think he needs to concentrate on doing the basics right, before trying standing foot and no-look passes. He’s a good midfielder but he’s no Tielemans. We miss him massively.

Would like to see him take a bit of responsibility on and take a few shots too. Take the ball off Onana. I still think he's done well for us so far. Bit of a breather at weekend, let Barkley start and he can lift it off the bench.
