Yeah, I think continental wages are quoted as net (which makes sense), whereas in the UK it's gross.

Turin is quite close to Switzerland, maybe he wanted to be closer to his in-laws.
I think it's a deal that suits all parties. Obviously we'd have been more than happy to keep a player as good as him, and I assume he'd be happy to finally crack the Champions League with Villa. But the chance for him to play for a genuine European giant in Juventus who always qualify for the Champions League, live in a great city like Turin and earn even more money, while we get a nice big profit for PSR, two new players to strengthen the squad and some cash, in a department that's probably our strongest makes sense all round.I'm sorry to see him go but I wish him all the very best. Apart from if we meet them in the Champions League obviously, then I hope he's as shit as he's been since Christmas for us!**Just a joke, don't write in.
Unless Iling Junior is a future superstar AND McKennie is better than adequate, this is a terrible deal forced upon us.Dougie is a massive loss.
My money is on Dougie being sold by Juve to Barca in the next 18 months. I just hope we have a sell-on clause.
