Was there an issue with Luiz getting a work permit when he was at Man City? That's why they had to keep loaning him out? Seems to have worked in our favour in the long run.
So Arsenal are going to offer us a player we don't want or need, who's never fit for a player we do need, who's never injured.
You have to laugh at the speculated value of Dougie in the media. Provided there's not a specific release clause in his contract he won't be going anywhere, and certainly not for £60m.
We should be grateful to doff our caps, take a sicknote player who turned us down previously so that The Arsewipes can pay less than they want to for a player we do not want to sell.Having said that does his new contract have a price clause in it ?

Well, if his new contract does have a price clause in it, we should find a buyer outside the premier league and not give those Arseholes the satisfaction of getting one of our best players on the cheap.
If there is a clause then the Smith-Rowe links don't make sense because his value is subjective and wouldn't be counted towards triggering anything.
