As long as he and Ms Lehmann are in love, he'll be happy to stay in Brum.
You really think that?

I'm a romantic who has recently found love again. Please, just let me clutch to this in a world gone wrong.

And they will live happily ever after and so will you and your new Beau eamon.

Allegedly turned down three bids today. He’ll be signing a new deal in the near future is my guess.

The fact we were all pretty sanguine about this just tells you how the club has changed.  Any team offering the kind of money being bandied about for a player who is probably not our best midfielder we would have snapped their hands off 2 years ago - not anymore

She might need to work on her Portuguese. https://twitter.com/AstonVillabrfc/status/1488539968318365696

Well I'm glad he's still here. I guess that with the fact that we've not brought a DM in, that's going to continue to be his role for the time being, even though it's not really what he does best.
On this subject Aston Villa have opened a careers website. I had a search for 'Defensive Midfielder' but 0 jobs were shown. https://careers.avfc.co.uk/

Another anonymous performance tonight but he was not alone in that!

He was utterly anonymous tonight. He’s the key player when we’re trying to play out from the back against a high press and he just wasn’t at the races. Kept losing his runners in behind him as well which caused all sorts of problems for Konsa/Mings.

Anonymous apart from stealing the ball off a Leeds attack to set Coutinho off for Ramsey's second.

I'm a big fan but as I said at the game, this was one he really should have shone in, taking the pace and hustle out of the  game but he was just as hurried as everyone else.

If we could get Bissouma and Ward-Prowse in, I think we could sell Luiz and McGinn on for a tidy some.

You have to wonder whether the reported 3 bids we rejected last month has unsettled him a bit. I wouldn't blame him if that meant he played in his preferred position.

Really struggling and he's not alone.  He'll be gone in the Summer.

Useless today crap against Leeds and having a pretty poor season.
Played like he did not care.
