Feel for Douglas but glad he's not going to get mixed up with the whole isolation thing.

His best performance for us I thought, best midfielder on the pitch. McGinn was excellent aswell.

His ball in for Cash that ended with the Targett effort was sublime. Seems in this format Matty has been told to bomb forward when he can and the midfielders to find his runs and it has led to goals and great chances.

I expect it is if he can consistently do it. Last season he was brilliant in the first few months then went off the boil. Whether that was tiredness, niggly injuries or changes in personal elsewhere meaning he was expected to do different is a question that hopefully we don't need to ask this season.

Everyone went off the boil and we weren't the only club to see that.

Get him on a new deal.

Will be a problem next summer if he's only got 1 year left.

He’s some player, so much better not having to sit in front of the defence and he’s now so much more of an influence to the team. He’s ace, just bloody brilliant today.

Yep thought he was great today, our best midfielder by miles.

He’s bloody ace. We need to get him tied down for the long-term.

Tough call between him and SJM today.  The midfield 3 are really ticking in the last 2 games.  If we can find the balance ahead of them we are looking sharp.  Fingers crossed!

Agree and the sooner the better.  Let’s face it, if he enters the final year of his contract he is gone at the end of that season.

Add Sanson and Nakamba to the mix as well who have both done really well. As someone who was desperate for us to sign a big aggressive option in midfield I'm currently very happy to be proven wrong, I hope it continues.
