I don't think he ever went back to defence though, that's when he spent a few seasons playing left-midfield under O'Leary and then O'Neill put him central with Moore and Gabby either side of Angel.

He couldn't play as a centre half unless as part of a 3 and he was not much more than a competent full back.
I cant see them being able to pay anything like what it'd take for us to even consider selling.
