I also highly doubt that he did train with the squad as he hasn't yet signed and wouldn't risk injury. Perhaps he visited, had a medical, spoke to Deano and left again to consider his option, singular: stay out on loan and bum from club to club like some footballing vagrant, or, join the very best football team on the planet.

Have to say I'll be very disappointed if we don't get him now. At least there's no X FC to "hijack the Luiz deal" rumours online.

No, I don't think so although I would like to be pleasantly surprised.

Remember how long it took to get Wesley's work permit? We'll be fine.

As Mr Woodhall started this thread, I have full confidence that he will sign.

Dave is a touch past his prime, why would we sign him.

We announced that he had signed subject to a work permit. We haven't done so with Luiz suggesting that another issue or issues also need to be resolved.

It's down to Douglas now. I don't know why one would jet over to Minnesota, which isn't exactly Los Angeles, just to reneg.

Girona have signed a Leeds midfielder. Could be due to Douglas joining us.

Would imagine Pablo Hernandez would be more likely for a Spanish club, but who knows ?
