I also highly doubt that he did train with the squad as he hasn't yet signed and wouldn't risk injury. Perhaps he visited, had a medical, spoke to Deano and left again to consider his option, singular: stay out on loan and bum from club to club like some footballing vagrant, or, join the very best football team on the planet.

Have to say I'll be very disappointed if we don't get him now. At least there's no X FC to "hijack the Luiz deal" rumours online.
