You mean he doesn't have his head swathed in bloody bandages?
I think he meant his entire body was swathed in clean bandages, like an Egyptian mummy, but the top of his head was popping out unbandaged

Probably met him when he was at a Halloween party or something

Having Googled it, Vickery was probably onto something

Quote
“He is maybe a Terry Butcher in reverse. One of those centre-backs that looks better than he is. Terry Butcher played three World Cups without any mistakes. He was much better than people gave him credit for. – Diego Carlos has those moments where he is the king of the hill, but I worry about the mistakes.”

So basically not as good as he seems to be

All-action but wears his brains on his pecs. Still, it feels exciting to have someone called "Diego" play for the Villa so he's alright by me to see out his career with us while his wages divert funds from upgrades to the urinal troughs.

Like Steven Gerrard and his central defenders signing Carlos, Chambers and Bednareck
Carlos was 26m

Dean Smith signed Konza for 12m
That's 12m absolutely a bargain and value buy to become the best England defender in my view

Hope you're not too worried about Jack sitting beside Konsa on the subs bench when he came off against ÉIRE yesterday, Footy. He can't be a bad influence anymore, and anyway Ezri is a pure pro.

Grealish was often hanging out with Watkins and Konsa on international duty.
There aren't cliques but there are certain groupings that go on.
People prefer different people's company but Southgate was always good at getting the collective.

Konsa gets on well with Watkins , the London boys and jack.

Smith had the benefit of working with Konsa at Brentford and said when we signed him that he would go onto play for England.

As an aside, you could see that Emery had a lot of respect for Smith when they met before one of the games last season (West Ham at home?).

Didn't Steve Bruce sign John McGinn?

Konsa starts tonight v Finland. A match where he unlikely to have to showcase his defensive abilities perhaps not so much however he can show his general assured performance and passing and main thing is hoping stats clear of injury

Ezri played on for almost ten minutes after rolling his ankle before he came off, so I'm hoping it's not too serious, and nothing a few days rest won't fix.
