A centre back who’s weakness is heading? 🤔

He's currently in the England U21 set-up, which is making me quite optimistic.

From what I can gather from my mates who support Brentford, seems a similar player to Tuanzebe (athletic, good with the ball at his feet etc).

Bit short for CB at 6ft. Let’s hope he’s a bit of a Des Walker

Yeh I laughed at that too. I imagine it’s more it’s something he needs to continue to improve. At 20 he has room to grow and develop. I do hope he’s being brought in as potential starter but in reality a longer term option. If we get AT back or actually even Cahill then this becomes an even better signing.

I know mate. But hopefully there aren’t too many bell ends out there like back in the Championship Joe

I’ll have watched Brentford as many times as they’ll have been on the box, and I couldn’t say a thing about him except Dean must want him so he must be OK.

Rightly or wrongly, what it does suggest to me is that they don’t think Chester is likely to be up to this league any time soon (or ever). Which would be a great shame.

That’s the way the game is changing through. There aren’t many big CF fuckers in the PL these days

From those highlights he reads the game really well, has a good touch, can pass and has some pace, I particularly like the fact that he doesn't seem to have to make all that many tackles (he tends to nip in front and intercept or take the ball away), for me that's the sign of a good centre back.  Well happy with this one and I reckon he could do a job as a holding midfielder at a push as well.

If he signs Dean Smith will improve him, I'd rather us signing a young player who the boss can develop rather than the likes of Cahill who is looking for one last large pay day.
