If he signs Dean Smith will improve him, I'd rather us signing a young player who the boss can develop rather than the likes of Cahill who is looking for one last large pay day

Like Terry was?  😀 I mean yeah Fair enough he might well be, but you never know he might also just be looking for first team football again too.

A centre back who’s weakness is heading? 🤔

Yeh I laughed at that too. I imagine it’s more it’s something he needs to continue to improve. At 20 he has room to grow and develop. I do hope he’s being brought in as potential starter but in reality a longer term option. If we get AT back or actually even Cahill then this becomes an even better signing.

Same age as AT, played more than twice as many league games and more or less the same amount of England youth games.  Surely we don't have room for both?

In my eyes, the need to develop AT for Man U has decreased further on the back of this signing.

Odd isn't it.  Looks good, but has flown completely beneath most peoples radar.

Anyway, lets hope he's a star.  And Bristol can suck my balls for their £30m.

Sorry Chris but even for £30m I wouldn't do that. Nothing personal...!

Like the look of him from that vid’

This signing players who appear very comfortable on the ball is not the Aston Villa way. What’s going on?

To be fair on the you tube show reel he looks very cool, calm and decent on the ball.  Quick too.

That’s like pointing out that John Carew made mince meat out of a young Gary Cahill at VP vs Bolton. Young defenders have to learn and it’s almost inevitable that an experienced and talented forward will take advantage of naivety at some point in their development.

These are the best kind of signings.... Huge prospect, England u21 international, and totally out of the blue!
Hope this one comes off - Could have the future England centre back pairing in our midst!  :D

There's room for improvement and he has a lot of potential but at the moment I'd say he's way off being PL quality. Defensively weak from set-pieces and lacks concentration at times, although very tidy for a defender with the ball at his feet bringing the ball out from the back. £12m is a lot for a player who was only £2.5m a year ago coming off the back of an iffy season in the Championship.

Height and heading weren't particularly strong points for Tuanzebe either.

It's more the marking and staying with a man that Konsa struggles with. Gets caught ball-watching a fair bit.
