Although would have preferred him to stay back and not play.....

I don’t think he will get much game time.

He won't.  Southgate will need to check out Harry McGuire.

He's been crap since he came back from injury and I'd rather he rested than trained and bantz'd with players of shitty PL teams. Plus we probably have to give Brentford an extra tenner.

But look, if this is what Ezri wants, I shan't stop in his way.

We have too many players who are injured and unavailable; too many players having to play who are not fully fit; and too many players having to play  who are out of form, and who know they are.  As a result, and whatever happens to be the starting XI at the minute, at the first sign of a setback in a game (ie one goal conceded) there tends to then follow an individual and collective collapse. All this is exacerbated by the fact that our style of play requires a collective confidence, which currently just isn't there. If we could just get two wins in before the international break, it would be a great thing.

Edit: posted in the wrong thread!

Well done Ezri. In the squad for March games.
Mouthgate has been waxing lyrical about Gomez and Branthwaite, so Ezri is probably a makeweight in the squad.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe asked Gareth to pick Konsa so he could be tapped up when he's away.

Konsa fortunate enough maybe? Rotten last three games. Branthwaite looks decent in a dreadful team

Absolutely outstanding tonight vs Brazil. Vini Jr and later Endrick got nothing out of him. Superb performance.

Yes, he played well. Wonder if Gareth will start him in the next game.

Southgate probably won't pick him again. Big schnozzed twat.

If Walker's injured there isn't really anyone else to play right-back.

Didn’t Southgate used to pick about five right backs in each squad ?

Yup. Running low now though.

Walker
Alexander-Arnold
Trippier
James

Are the big ones and are all injured.

There was that time a few years back when Livramento, Justin, Wan-Bissaka, Walker-Peters, Lamptey, Cash (pre-Poland) etc were all playing well and people were talking about a team of right-backs.

Joe Gomez will start at RB on Tuesday, guaranteed.
