Has he dropped a "Mings" yet in terms of errors?

Don't think so. He's so smooth. Amazing that everyone has Mings in their England squad but not Konsa. He's a class act.

Tyrone is a very good defender, but if he was a right-sided centre-back I do wonder if his England place would be as assured.

Precisely. Then he'll have 3 years to get used to it before the World Cup.
Or 1 year for Qatar 2022.

Erm, yes. Quite.

A few months ago, I read on Molineux Mix that Konsa was just another diving Villa scumbag...

I've been down a YouTube rabbit hole. They both seem like thoroughly lovely fellas.

I'll post the same on the other's thread too, for the sake adhering to the Ministerial Code.

I love the passion Konsa shows. When there's a disagreement he's one of the first on the scene, standing up for his teammates, and he really takes no shit from anyone.

Yet very rarely looks anything other than completely calm and in control while the ball is 'in play'.  Speaks volumes about his mental strength I think.

Classy defender, the best CB we have had in a long time. Don't want to see him at RB too many more times, mind.

Absolutely. We're building a team with a lot of leaders in it. He's a future Captain in my view, and not just for Villa but his country too.

Martinez, Konsa, Mings, McGinn, Grealish and Watkins are all captain material, either through leading by example or by their personality and leadership. Not that I'm advocating change.

Love, love, love this man. There was a point today where the ball came in from our right and he killed the ball in our six yard box, waited to see if Martinez was coming for it, decided he probably wasn't, so cleared it out towards Cash. All done like he had all the time in the world. Baresi, maybe even God himself would've been nodding their heads in approval at that.

A great honour for him to captain today against his old club too!
