I’ve been in denial until today as theoretically I liked the idea of going up. But when you are confronted with the harsh reality of the fixtures, god, it’s going to be a miserable grind to pick up enough points to survive. I have to confess I rather enjoyed the second division.
That's the spirit!

Sorry for being a Billy no Spine. I guess I should have more faith in Deano who I desperately want to succeed. I think he’s been a bloody marvellous manager and I am loving the rest of the world taking us seriously as a club again. I think it’s just that I’m scarred by that horrible season when we went down and would hate it if it’s like that again. I would just say that I think we need to be patient and realistic in our expectations. We were a distant third after all.

I share your concerns, Fred. Thing is, with our current squad we would struggle. Let’s see who we’ve got come the end of July.

Anyone know how to delete the fixture download & re-try to see of the correction works ?! Thx
Put your phone in the microwave for 30 seconds at 750W. That should do the trick.

Sky really are wanking themselves silly. They are now on reviewing Liverpool and man city's end of season run in games.

A decent enough set of opening fixtures. We do need a good start. Glad it's the spuds up 1st. It's the only way they're going to see Jack up close especially after their stingy offer for his signature last season.

Does anyone know when they pick the televised games from second round of games? Would like to get over for the Bournemouth game but don't want to risk booking flights on the (very) off-chance it gets moved to a sunday.

The dates are on the PL site:

Man U away will be moved, so will Wolves away if they make the Europa League Group Stage.

4 very winnable games sandwiched between Spurs and Arse away..... if we're in double figures  by the Burnley game on 28/09/19 we'll be laughing...….

I think this is the issue with the top flight. There are 12 matches which are free hits and anything we get is a bonus. Whereas in the Championship every match was winnable.

Different mindset.

We need to scoop up points early in the winnable matches or we'll struggle.

Got more chance of picking up a draw at Arsenal or Chelsea than Brentford away!

Our fixture away to Arsenal also I think.
