Also the Spurs game scheduled for 8th February may be played the weekend after. They are splitting a round of fixtures so that all ten games are televised over two weeks.

This is the picture doing the rounds, unlikely it's real though.

Begs the question. Why on earth would some dipshit go to the bother?

Yes they are introducing a 2 week winter break for the clubs, half will be from 1st to 15th Feb and other will be from 8th to 22nd Feb, which is why the 5th round of the cup, will be moved to March, with no replays.

Can't see us dropping any points tbh.

We might struggle to beat Wolves away.

May as well concede the fixture now to save time and money all round.

It's my lad's seventh birthday first week in October so I think I'll take him to Burnley at home for his first ever game.

Although I did enjoy the championship for a multitude of reasons it does make good reading to see our games now in the Premiership - it highlights how we used to take for granted being in there.

Also on Talkshite (although could be renamed Man U FM lately) they were advertising the fact that they have license to live games coming up in the new season and accompanied it with excerpts of matches when goals were scored
"Aguero"
"Rashford"
"Salah"
Grealish"

I had a warm glowing smile on my face ;)

I bet we are pissing the likes of Norwich and Sheffield United off already as they are not even mentioned in anything

That was my cynical view as well. Unless that Premier League have stipulated that teams are not allowed to play friendlies in the period.

I’ve been in denial until today as theoretically I liked the idea of going up. But when you are confronted with the harsh reality of the fixtures, god, it’s going to be a miserable grind to pick up enough points to survive. I have to confess I rather enjoyed the second division.
That's the spirit!

Sorry for being a Billy no Spine. I guess I should have more faith in Deano who I desperately want to succeed. I think he’s been a bloody marvellous manager and I am loving the rest of the world taking us seriously as a club again. I think it’s just that I’m scarred by that horrible season when we went down and would hate it if it’s like that again. I would just say that I think we need to be patient and realistic in our expectations. We were a distant third after all.
