We need to make sure we are safe by the end of March as I don’t fancy our April and May games.
What’s this safe? Do you mean safe from Europa League qualification?

When you look at the names we have to play then it's doesn't seem that bad at all. Bournemouth, Palace, Burnley, West Ham, Norwich, Brighton... hardly the big boys of world football...

Beat all those teams home and away + Sheff Utd and the jobs done. eezy peezy!

I’ve been in denial until today as theoretically I liked the idea of going up. But when you are confronted with the harsh reality of the fixtures, god, it’s going to be a miserable grind to pick up enough points to survive. I have to confess I rather enjoyed the second division.
That's the spirit!

Don't take any notice of him Fred. Now the euphoria of Wembley has subsided, I'm coming round to your view.

Does anyone know when they pick the televised games from second round of games? Would like to get over for the Bournemouth game but don't want to risk booking flights on the (very) off-chance it gets moved to a sunday.

I asume we on the telly the week before, so we are unlikely to be on for two weeks on the bounce.

Hope we've got our CL place sorted by mid April with Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool in the last 6 games!
;)
We will seal 1st place by beating Utd and condemn them to the championship at the same time. Dream big and chase your dreams!

Yeah that's what I guessed as well, but I've been caught out before by booking flights only for the game to be moved, so not taking any chances!

AVFC official site says Tottenham fixture on opening day selected for live TV at 5.30 kick off - usually a week or two before televised games announced?

Think it's a great start. A big game to start with is what I wanted, come back right in to it, possibly at the best club stadium in the country too.

First three home games are a decent opportunity to get some points on the board.

Only disappointment is that I only manage to do 1 or 2 aways a season, so I've got no chance of seeing the new Spurs or West Ham stadium as they're first and last. Was hoping one of those would be early December when tickets are a bit easier to come by.

mine has now corrected the times back to 3pm but we've got a really tough December 21st, we're playing both Southampton at home and Watford away that day!!

Why are the three promoted teams away from home on the first weekend?
Conspiracy😆

Coincidence.
Next you'd be telling me that being away both first and last game is also a coincidence when we all know it's a conspiracy.

Have just checked the rest of the season and it’s a complete farce of a download with multiple days showing multiple games on the same day. FFS.

Time to delete and start again.
