The play-offs do mean something - obviously we're back where we should be, and it's great to see a Villa captain (or two) lift a pot at Wembley. It's no Peace Cup, admittedly, but then what could be?Joking aside, I view it like Clough talked about the Watney's Cup or whatever it was. That first trophy which convinced Forest they could really achieve. Smith will look at that game as the step which enables a greater climb, and when we're looking at the roll of honour in a decade's time, hopefully we'll see he was absolutely right to do so.

Might have been Faulkner.
I've just checked and I notice that I have been a member of H&V for almost thirteen years. In all that time; I can honestly say, that I cannot remember a time when the whole forum as a collective were so happy and in tune with each other.
