I feel a bit weird.
I feel a bit weird.I enjoyed winning and it was a great day out, but...after walking out of Wembley I didn't feel elated and I haven't at any point since.I guess the only way to describe the feeling is more a wrong being righted than an achievement. Maybe it's all the pressure and thinking about results, permutations of others, the upcoming fixtures and all of that being lifted.
It's not a success though is it, in the grand scheme of things. We're back where we've spent most of our existence and bar Everton, more time than anybody else. It's an achievement, it's not success and balance is restored. This is the re-start, nothing more.
Absolutely crying at this on the facebook page. McGinn is on his brother's stag do, Mings is wandering around Bournemouth in his full kit and Jack is still celebrating. It would be a logistical nightmare to organise it anyway!
