I was kept in rapt amusement at Madrid airport earlier by SHA.

The winner, in my arrogant opinion:

"One thing to remember and cause you to feel warm inside - we will never be like them. Never have that repugnant sense of self worth and slimy arrogance.

I’m really proud to be Blues and love our passion, good humour and self deprecation. What is football about - is it about being loved by Sky and drooled over by sanctimonious tw@ts in a TV studio? I don’t want Andy Hinchcliffe or Don Goodman to like my club. I honestly couldn’t care what any media brainwashed ex-pro thinks. It’s all unconscious bias that they don’t even know they have.

That feeling of goosebumps when we are belting out KRO at some random away ground is worth so much more to me than them lot failing.

Even if they go up - they will still be Vile fans - that deep sense of insecurity and arrogance will be with them for life. They will never win the league again and that will always cause them to have huge existential angst and deeply embedded shame.

Don’t let them get you down - I’m off for a walk with the dog with a big smile on my face. Always proud to be a Blues fan."

I chuckled for ages at the sentence in bold.
how can you be insecure and arrogant at the same time? I can see how delusion and idiocy go hand in hand though.

Delusional bollocks.
Sadly Birmingham City will always be behind us.
They can’t beat us at football so scrabble around for anything to be ahead of us.
Enjoy the dog walk. Your pet clearly has more intelligence on this and many other subjects.

Here, the dog takes its inferior for a walk.

Noses are the epitome of insecurity.  That post is a classic example of it.  They are continually telling themselves that they are happy where they are as a club and that they don't need our riches or history - How singing KRO at an away game brings out goosebumps - How they are real fans and we're all plastics - How they all come from Birmingham (all 20,000 of them out of 1,000,000) and all other irrelevant drivel.

If they're so happy with where they are as a club, there would be no obsession with Villa - They would behave as we generally do towards them (without the entertainment factor that we enjoy admittedly)  Apart from the 2 games against them, I barely give the clowns a second thought all season - Even the 9 point deduction meant nothing to me as I don't view them as a rival.  It is their insecurity that brings out the obsession they have for us and fcuk them - Let them drown in their bitterness and obsessions - They bring nothing to the party save for a bit of light hearted amusement.

Delighted with the win considering we wasn't at our best and too many players were off their game. Their game plan looked to be working a treat and it was probably going to take something special to get back into it. I thought Gayle for them was very good. It's a shame, sorry I mean hilarious that he's out for Tuesday.

Also a quick word on the atmosphere, it was absolutely superb yesterday.

And I was sat a few seats away from David Bradley, aka Walder Frey from Game of Thrones, who I now know is a huge Villa fan.  He was joining in with the "Fuck the Albion" chants with more gusto than I imagine would be good for a man of his years.

From the bloke amazed people don't know about the Royal family!  :P :-*

Oops, just seen that it's already been posted. Wonderful video, though.
Brings a tear to my eye every time. Best video about the villa ever made. Just don't go to the wedding if he invites you.

Gayle is a very good player, glad he's out for Tuesday. The red mist certainly descended yesterday though as he should have been sent off before he actually was.

Thought the atmosphere was fantastic last 20 minutes and outside the ground afterwards.

We can play a lot better which is encouraging for the second leg while I think they are so limited.

He lost the plot. Him diving and holding his face was absolutely embarrassing, while he should have walked before he did.

The whole ground singing Fuck the Albion was joyous. Horrible, dirty, snidey, sub-Pulis wankers.

Don't know their manager's name but thought he was made not to take Gayle off. I said to our kid he was gonna get himself sent off and sure enough he obliged. Was arguably lucky not to go earlier, and I think Gibbs should have got a second yellow for the penalty, too. I would also have sent off Rodriguez just because I don't like him or his stupid face.

I seem to recall that Gayle cynically drew a foul from Krul and won a penalty very early in the season. I wonder if he was trying to do the same thing yesterday? It's the only explanation for his stupidity at that point in the game, other than that incredible stupidity is his default setting, obvs. Either way, delighted that he's unavailable for Tuesday.

Me and Rodders Jnr keep spontaneously breaking into Fuck The Albion. Can we go on to adapt it to "Fuck The Dirty Leeds" for the final please?

Just gone to get into the shower and see that Rodders Jnr has been busy with his little brother's alphabet.

edit - don't know why it doesn't show properly.
Sorry.

I'm normally utter shite at predictions but I said in the pre-match thread I wasn't very confident because we'd been fluffing too many chances (we fluffed a couple I suppose) , we always seem to have at least one error in us (thank you Whelan) that always seems to get punished (it did), and they would target Jack (they did, but that was obvious).   I also said we are due a bit of luck against the boggies (No penalty for them, Gayle's incredible stupidity) so I think we'll sneak the home leg 1-0 or 2-1 .

Not bad I'd say.  Off to change my name to Nostradamus.
