Souness was a fantastic footballer and a great Liverpool captain, when they were the best team in Europe

Whilst working on TV and Radio he has to make statements that get people talking, it is the same for any pundit, that is what they are paid to do, to give their opinions, if you don't like them don't listen to them.

I am sure that Tyrone takes no notice of comments that he makes - water of a ducks back.

I think the best thing to do is call Souness a cock and file along with the likes of Alan 'not 1981 1st Division champion' Brazil.

The man wore a moustache throughout his career. He has no defence.

That is a shock, an old white man, telling a young black man to know his place

Football, as ever, is a reflection on society

Souness is a cock

Really?  Do you really see a race issue in this?

Souness is a dinosaur that is all and as you quite rightly state...a cock
With Souness being a Tory (and Tories being against change) I'm pretty sure the Taking a Knee - Black Lives Matter awareness/protest that Tyrone spoke so eloquently about (with it being a change/threat to the general order) is the thing that initially sparked Souness' dislike towards him. By the looks of it he has just bidded his time waiting to stick the boot in.

Yup definitely in agreement with the "Souness is a cock" camp. And talking of sticking the boot in... looking at and remembering some of his over the top tackles/assaults I'm actually amazed he didn't end anyone's career.

It's absolutely disgraceful what TalkSport are doing to Mings. Mings should rise above all that and just ignore Souness and just not get involved in their media circus. They are quite clearly singling him out for their own agenda. This is the sort of thing that leads to the ridiculous abuse that Mings received at Elland Road last season, they're building him up as a figure of hate.

Souness is a complete idiot, I would be interested to know how Gerrard feels about him dragging one of his players through the mud. Working for TalkSport Souness is working for a Murdoch owned company, that Colin Murray resigned from the moment they took over, because he's such a dedicated Liverpool supporter.

Can we talk about Tyrones excellent performance against Everton and in particular his unbelievable sliding save towards the end which undoubtedly saved us two points, rather than a has been pundit who lives off his grumpy persona and is now having to subsidise his pension by selling his soul to Talksport and making up controversial non stories for clicks and phone calls?

Tyrone was great at the weekend. It felt like he was making a point, but I hope he continues to play like that. So good to hear the Holte cheer every header he won.

I actually thought the much-maligned trio of Mings, McGinn and Watkins (with Kamara) was the difference between the two teams in the first half. Of course, it was only a very poor Everton team, but we haven't won many matches this year, so it was good to see them all making such a meaningful contribution to a victory.

I wonder if he is going to look the manager in the eye and tell him, your first choice centre back is fucked.

Some twats booed when his name was announced in the North Stand. Wankers that would no doubt concur with Sourness.

Didn't he get plenty of boos at Villa Park when they first started taking the knee ? Mings was brave enough to challenge those neanderthals publicly too.
